that it made her dad very sad and he doesnt like to do anything anymore because his wife is gone !!!! and it made her not be able to go on vacations anymore ! :( sad
its like a aquqard realationship bettween all of them because i bet the used to do things together and have fun together and now all the have is each other without thier moms in the picture so, if my mom died and it was only me my sister my dad and my brother i would feel that way. just the way the auther probly felt when she was writting this book maby sad or mad or bad that her mom had to die and needs more girtls than just her aunt beth and her
he's sad and like bethany said her dad and her mom had fun together but know she's gone and he probably is remembering the memories from when he and her mom when they went on vacation together.

It affected her dad by making him depresed and want to be a different person , it affected Franny by making her not feel good about herself.
