In Chapter 5, Slow and Fran have quite a heated discussion about her current attitude toward baseball and her team. Slow compares her troubles to those of Jackie Robinson. Do you agree with how Slow spoke to Fran? Do you think it will make a change in her attitude? What connections do you see between Fran and Jackie Robinson?

I do agree with slow , and I think the talk made here change her aditude , and the connections that I made was that Jackie and Fran both were the first " black person" and " girl" to play base ball , and they both got picked on because of that .

i think it changed her attitude too Jada i agree with slow too. they shouldnt be mean too her just because shes black. they should accept anybody who wants too play. they would NOT want her to treat them the way they treat her.

the connections i see with the is that they are both playing baseball and the both have a very good chance of being in the BIG leauge and having a chance to finnaly get out of the little leauges just like jakie did .
